WA3Z ~ Amateur Radio Operator

Fluvanna County ~ Virginia ~ USA

WA3Z call sign history

The call sign WA3Z was originally held by my father, John Hartman, as a sequentially assigned call sign when he upgraded to Amateur Extra. When my father become a SK in 2006 I applied for the call sign under the call sign vanity program.

You can find my father's ham radio webpage archived at www.oocities.org/capecanaveral/9523/index.html

What I enjoy about the Amateur Radio hobby

  • operating digital modes
  • building radios from kits
  • building test equipment from kits
  • designing and building antennas
  • Packet Radio and APRS
